Job Summary
We seek a proactive and organized Assistant to the CEO to support CTLR’s mission by driving membership growth and assisting in fundraising efforts. You’ll play a key role in managing CRM systems, supporting communications on Slack, and coordinating with stakeholders to strengthen CTLR’s network in the climate tech space. Ideal candidates will have CRM experience, especially with Salesforce, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for clean energy and climate finance.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Membership Development and Engagement
Support the CEO in membership growth by managing onboarding, retention, and outreach.
Assist in building strong relationships with members, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
Track and report on membership metrics to the CEO.
Fundraising and Donor Relations
Assist in planning and executing fundraising initiatives to support CTLR’s mission.
Research potential donors, partners, and sponsors, maintaining organized records.
Manage communications with donors, ensuring follow-up and impact reporting.
CRM and Data Management
Utilize Salesforce to manage member and donor data, track interactions, and generate reports.
Maintain a CRM database, inputting new contacts and tracking key metrics.
Collaborate with the CEO to optimize CRM usage for membership and fundraising strategies.
Communication and Coordination
Coordinate Slack communications for seamless internal and external collaboration.
Organize events, meetings, and other engagements, managing agendas and follow-ups.
Prepare materials, presentations, and reports for member meetings, fundraising, and board updates.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, environmental studies, or a related field.
Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools; experience with Slack is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Passion for clean energy, climate finance, or sustainability.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position. The role includes additional funding to support health benefits.
The position is available for 40-60K per year and a health care stipend.
