- Budget Boss
Description
MicroHOA needs a Budget Boss for our small HOA's budget season! This role will be the leader of MicroHOA’s small HOAs budget planning from beginning to end for the 2027 budget cycle. Seasonal role for an experienced association management professional who loves the financial part of HOA management, and is looking for flexibility or a change in work setting.
You’re a fit for this role if you have HOA financial experience, want a new challenge or flexibility without sacrificing your career experience, are organized and laser focused on accomplishing objectives through a clear system; excel at initiating a project and seeing it through to completion; and want to work with a connected and positive team.
Anticipated term: September 2026-January 2027. There are opportunities after that term.
Job responsibilities: You will work with our boards of directors and the MicroHOA team to:
Oversee all aspects of the budget season process, from organization to approval to implementation
Primary point of contact for clients about budget adoption, timeline and deadlines for budget renewal
Use AI tools to simplify and progress the budget planning process
Plan and host budget workshops for our board members
Provide consultation when requested by board members
Follow process for budget adoption and notification for each association
Organize and conduct data entry for 2027 budgets for all associations.
Track project deliverables for HOA
Provide feedback and improve internal workflow
Collaborate with MicroHOA support, financial, and leadership team.
Requirements
Minimum five years HOA financial management and budget planning experience; experience with Excel required, Vantaca experience strongly preferred. Entrepreneurial experience valued.
