Description

The Commercial Loan Operations Specialist will be responsible for providing administrative and member service support to Commercial Relationship Managers, for both existing and prospective members. In addition, the Commercial Loan Operations Specialist is responsible for preparation and or/review of Commercial Loan documentation, disbursements of loan proceeds, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years experience in Commercial and/or SBA lending, including 1–3 years of experience preparing commercial loan documentation for both real estate and non-real estate transactions
• Ability to work on-site in our Herndon, VA headquarters and equally effectively remotely
• Ability to work Monday-Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Experience in Laserpro or related software
• Experience tracking numerical data of detailed organizational information
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to perform tasks carefully, accurately, and in accordance with specific instructions
• Ability to use standard office and/or banking equipment and systems; working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Proven experience as a self-starter with strong administrative and organizational skills, and an eagerness to learn
• Strong understanding of loan documentation
