NWMT is seeking a creative and mission-aligned Marketing and Events Specialist to help us share our work and resources with a variety of audiences. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys being creative, thinking strategically, and working in a small team environment.
Must be located in Montana with option for remote, hybrid, or in-office schedule within Great Falls area.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related field or equivalent experience and at least one year of relevant work experience. Additional demonstrated knowledge and experience in design, and event planning. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Highly collaborative while able to work independently and manage time effectively. Set high standards, exhibit a positive attitude, and thrive when working creatively in a small team environment. This position requires exemplary attention to detail, accuracy, creativity, and strategic thinking.
Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Canva pro as well as basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud. Occasional evenings and weekends with minimal travel required.
Content & Copywriting
Write compelling copy for ads, blogs, newsletters, social media, and campaigns often collaborating with staff, partners, and clients
Manage social media accounts, utilizing a strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
Lead coordination and creation of mass email marketing
Develop marketing and communications resources for partner network as needed
Design graphics and other marketing materials, blending our brand with current trends and industry standards
Create engaging visual content through basic photography and short-form videography projects
Event Planning
Serve as lead NeighborWorks Montana staff member in Montana Housing Partnership activity
Assist staff with coordination of in-person events and online webinars, including calendar invites, RSVP management, venue booking, etc.
Gather post-event metrics as needed for review with Communications Manager
Order promotional items and track inventory
Digital Marketing
Provide basic SEO and keyword research for content optimization
Manage website edits with the web developer and Communications Manager as needed
Analyze and optimize performance metrics for all digital marketing initiatives to improve engagement and conversions
Campaigns and Communication
Help coordinate marketing-wide initiatives, keeping timelines and deliverables on track
Work with Communications Manager to build and implement product, service, and event campaigns across multiple channels
Research
Stay informed on industry trends and insights that help inform our marketing strategies
Assist with experimentation and growth in current and potential marketing channels
