7 ON/7 Off + Paid Vacation
North Scottsdale
Position Overview:
HonorHealth, a premier, locally owned and managed non-profit healthcare system in Scottsdale/Phoenix metro area is seeking BC/BE NeuroHospitalist to join its team of eleven Neurohospitalists. This position is designed for neurologists who enjoy managing a diverse range of acute neurological conditions in a collaborative, hospital-based setting.
Position Highlights:
- Schedule: Traditional 7-on/7-off model (night call from home)
- Separate 24/7 Tele-Stroke service
- Join a team of 11, soon to be 12 Neurohospitalists
- Option to pick up additional shifts (Neurohospitalist or Tele-Stroke)
- 27 days of PTO beyond week off schedule
- Employed position with HonorHealth, a locally governed, not-for-profit health system (PSLF)
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Inpatient consultative Service
- Collaborative care with Neuro ICU, Emergency Medicine, and Hospitalist teams
ASU John Shufeldt School of Medicine & Medical Engineering
The Arizona State University John Shufeldt School of Medicine and Medical Engineering is a new medical school designed to train physician-engineers through a combined MD and MS in Medical Engineering. The medical school integrates clinical education with engineering, AI, and health systems science. ASU has held the top spot in the “Most Innovative Schools” category for 11 years straight.
The first medical school class begins Summer 2026 neurologists will have opportunities to participate in teaching, with academic appointments commensurate with experience. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of the foundation of a Medical School redefining how teachers teach and learners, learn.
